Bam Bam: The Sister Nancy Story premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, June 8. The documentary, written and directed by Alison Duke and featuring interviews with Janelle Monae, Pete Rock, and others, tells the story of female dancehall icon Sister Nancy and her signature 1982 hit that continues to play in dances, commercials and now, a full-length feature documentary.
