Aza Lineage, one of Jamaica’s rising songstresses, teamed up with California-based production outfit More Life Productions to release her debut EP ‘Kingston to Cali.’ The 6-track body of work stays true to Aza’s ethos of pairing riddim with conscious lyrics.
The EP showcases Aza’s versatile singing and toasting style over riddims ranging from foundation-style one-drop riddims to nyahbinghi / blues fusion riddims and everything in between.
Aza Lineage’s voice and energy is a refreshing addition to the Reggae landscape at home and abroad. Taking the reggae world by storm, Aza has performed on multiple of international reggae festival lineups such as Rototom Sunsplash and Rebel Salute. She toured Mexico in March in support of her EP; she has more in store.
