Donovan ‘Don Corleon’ Bennett is one of Jamaica’s most respected and in-demand authentic Reggae and Dancehall producers of the modern era, one who has been active on the scene since 2002 with the launch of the seminal riddim ‘Mad Ants’ and he’s shown no signs of slowing down ever since. Firmly staying in his own lane creatively Bennett went on to produce a number of in-demand riddims in the early 2000s for the legendary series of Riddim Albums for Greensleeves Records, including ‘Mad Guitar’, ’Sweat’, ‘Trifecta’ and more. Particular highlights from his back catalogue are the crucial albums, Sizzla ‘Rise To The Occasion’ and his cousin Protoje’s ’Seven Year Itch’, plus standout works with Jah Cure, Sean Paul, Rihanna and Vybz Kartel to name but a few.
