Soul Reggae Delivers Good Sounds at Lunchtime in Brazil

Delivering new releases and listener engagement, as well as promotions for fans to enjoy, the Soul Reggae program is the only one active on the ES dial entirely dedicated to reggae culture.

For three years, the Soul Reggae program has connected Rocket 97.7FM listeners to everything that is relevant in reggae culture around the world. Always live, from Monday to Friday, noon to 1pm, cultural producer, advertiser and radio host Thiago “Fumegante” Bossois produces and presents the latest and greatest in the musical style created in Jamaica.

The program is the successor to the extinct Cidade do Reggae, which for several years, under the direction of Bossois and Aléxia Mariano, also served the purpose of promoting the Rastas, Rudeboys and Little Sisters scene. Recently the Soul Reggae program celebrated another anniversary, by holding the Manguinhos Reggae Festival, at Espaço Chico Bento, in Serra.  The public had access to shows by acts representing post-modern reggae made in Brazil, full of references ranging from rock to MPB, such as the Rio de Janeiro bands Alma Djem and Braza who were some of the event’s attractions. which took place last September.

With the arrival of summer in Brazil, and the temperature rising, travel to Jamaica at lunchtime, by tuning in to 97.7 on ES FM or access hfnews.com.br and connect to the best reggae program in Brazil.
