VP Records is proud to have hosted eight-time Olympic medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce for an exclusive Meet & Greet on January 30 at our flagship store in Queens, NY. The event, held in partnership with Irie Jam Radio, brought together supporters from across New York City to celebrate the launch of her AFIMI hair care line.
Shelly-Ann spent the evening meeting supporters, introducing the AFIMI: The Essence of Jamaica product line, and sharing the inspiration behind her clean beauty brand. Attendees learned about the natural Caribbean botanicals used in AFIMI and how the products are designed to nourish all hair types.
A special highlight of the event was a group of young women from the Awesome Power Track Club, who had the opportunity to meet and interact with the sprint legend. As an athlete who has paved the way for future generations, Shelly-Ann took time to offer words of encouragement, share her journey, and inspire these rising stars in the track and field community.
