“Reggae Loves Unity” Out on Digital Platforms Today

Out on streaming platforms digitally on Friday May 22nd, “Reggae Loves Unity” is a themed compilation of hits selected from the VP /Greensleeves catalogue centered around peace, love and unity. At a time when the world is practicing social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the selection of songs, uplift, connect and empower.
Compiled and executive produced by Eisaku ‘Selector A’ Yamaguchi (VP Records), “Reggae Loves” is a series of digital only album releases that includes “Reggae Loves Africa” (2014), “Reggae Loves Jah” (2015) and “Reggae Loves Romance” Vol. 1 (2016) and 2 (2018).
This time around, Eisaku ‘Selector A’ Yamaguchi wanted to focus on unity and it comes at the perfect time. To represent that, the 11 track compilation includes the recently released “Brighter Day” by Jah Cure off his recent album “Royal Soldier”, “Peace Reign” by Busy Signal, “Body and Soul” by Beres Hammond, “Love and Unity” by Sanchez and more. No stranger to uplifting songs, the album also includes “Living in Love” by Richie Spice, whose new album “Together We Stand”, comes out June 12th on all streaming platforms.
“Reggae music has been synonymous with peace and unity for a very long time,” states Selector A. “I wanted the latest Reggae Loves album to represent why so many people love this genre and there is no better time than now,” he concludes.
