Rising Dancehall star Pablo YG impressed Canadian fans with his sold-out Rich and Richer tour. Performing at stops in Winnipeg, Toronto and Brantford (with upcoming stops in Montreal, Edmonton and Halifax), all performances were over capacity.
Songs “Rich and Richer,” “Radar,” “Bad Slave,” and “Louis V” had crowds singing with the artist word for word leaving no doubt that Canada enjoys the music the young artist is releasing. “It’s nice to see the baddies (female fans) and the juvi’s (male fans) come out and fulljoy themselves” said Pablo YG. Also impressive is the diversity of the artist’s fanbase. Hosts DJ Capone and Annakie Media added “Pablo YG is one of the few artists to have fans from the Caribbean, South Asia, Persia and Europe attend a show – his music is reaching a lot of people.”
In addition to performances, Pablo YG appeared on the Entertainment Report Podcast with host Muscle. He will also appear in the print edition of Toronto Caribbean Newspaper. He will shoot two music videos before returning to Jamaica.
