Christopher Martin Rocks Reggae SumFest Launch in New York City

VP artist Christopher Martin performed at the 25th anniversary launch of The Reggae Sumfest held in New York City, Wednesday April 26th. Among the popular hits that he crooned to the crowd included ‘Under the Influence’, ‘I’m a Big Deal’ and ‘Cheaters Prayer.’

The event, held at The Skyroom in Times Square, was a celebration and launch of the 25th year of The Reggae Sumfest, one of Jamaica’s largest and most celebrated music festivals. Held in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the festival which commenced in 1993 grows significantly every year with thousands of attendees. This year, VP artists Christopher Martin, Queen Ifrica, Jah Cure and Spice are on the line up along with past VP artists such as Beenie Man and Bounty Killer. Sponsors of the event include title sponsor, Red Stripe and The Jamaica Tourist Board.

Christopher Martin is currently touring with dates in the US and Canada, concluding at The Best of The Best Concert in Miami for Memorial Day Weekend. His album, “Big Deal,” was released in February and is available everywhere.
