The new video for “Dem Vex” by Christopher Martin is out now. The single, off the “One Way” riddim, has all the makings of a self-anthem. Using a common phrase, “vex”, Martin sheds light on the concept of embracing your successes despite those who are envious and jealous.

Directed by RD Studios, the equally boasty video features Christopher Martin in a lot with expensive designer cars, looking like a real superstar, showcasing his jewelry and flashy clothes.

Christopher Martin has kept busy with a recent trip to New York for The American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) Gala, where he performed in honor of one of his closest friends, Olympic athlete and world record holder for the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt.

His latest album And Then debuted at number one on the Billboard Reggae Chart back in May and presents a well-rounded mix of ballads and up-tempo jams, showcasing his musical versatility and growth with a celebration centered around themes of love, rising above hardship and finding the good in every situation.

Singles off the album include “Bun Fi Bun,”, “Can’t Dweet Again,” “Come Back” and most recently “Life,” which he performed on Fox 5’s Good Day New York. The album also features a standout cover of Mr. Big’s 1991 definitive track, “To Be With You.” Martin’s re-imagining of the love song is a sweet homage, delivering new meaning to the chart-topping single without losing sight of his powerful ability to connect with audiences across the globe and showcase his versatility as an artist not confined to one solitary genre.
