Reggae and Dub star Alborosie debuts on reggae chart. The award-winning multi-instrumentalist’s new album, Destiny, debuted at #7 on the Luminate Current Reggae Chart (which tracks physical activity and downloads). His lead single “Viral,” as well as guest appearances from Buju Banton, Kabaka Pyramid, Jaz Elize and Burro Banton has propelled the album on streaming platforms.
Destiny is the artists 9th album which was released in May via Greensleeves Records, VP Records and Shengen Entertainment. Staying true to the artist’s signature sound, blends of authentic Roots Rock Reggae and Dub paired with supreme songwriting and lyrical prowess have pushed the project to become a fan favorite.
To launch the album, Alborosie made an appearance at Amoeba Records San Francisco. He performed in-store and autographed copies of his album. To top off his in-store performance, Albo performed at Caliroots festival and is preparing for his European tour.
