Gyptian Debuts Music Video at Island SPACE Museum in Florida

International Reggae star Gyptian visited Island SPACE Caribbean Museum located in Plantation, FL.  The visit was a great opportunity for both Gyptian and the museum to bond over music.

Gyptian debuted his music video exclusively to his fans in South Florida for his new singles  “Only Room for Two” and “Hot Gyal Walk Out.”  The artist acknowledged the incredible support that comes from his fans in the region as well as the museum’s support of Caribbean culture and heritage.

At the presentation, Gyptian donated his Gold plaque for his hit single “Hold You” to the Island SPACE Museum as a thank you for the significant contributions the space has made.  This contribution enhances the museum’s collection and recognizes the importance of preserving and showcasing Caribbean music and its impact on the cultural landscape.

The Island SPACE Caribbean Museum is the only Caribbean museum in the country making this occasion even more special. It highlights the museum’s unique position in promoting and celebrating the Caribbean diaspora, allowing visitors to learn and appreciate the rich history and contributions of Caribbean communities.

Gyptian’s visit serves as an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about the museum, its mission, and the importance of supporting cultural institutions. Special guests in attendance for tonight’s preview and presentation, included Jamaican Consul General to the Southeastern United States, Oliver Mair, Miramar Commissioner, Alexandra Davis, VP Record’s Director of Global Marketing, Richard Lue, fans, other local artists, and business owners. Attendees were able to get memorabilia autographed by the artist and given photo opportunities as well.

“Acquiring this piece from Gyptian in such a personal way was a real treat for us at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum,” said Calibe Thompson – Museum Co-founder. “His signed, gold record will join the music collectibles we’ve acquired from the likes of Sean Paul, Spice, Sly Dunbar and Willie Stewart. We’re also looking forward to a stronger relationship with our new partner, VP Records.”
